I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere since this was takeout brought to me by friends but I can absolutely speak to the sandwich. And unfortunately, it was… tragic.
I ordered what’s been, in the past, an amazing chicken cheesesteak (or whatever it’s technically called):
No green peppers, add banana peppers. Side of fries. Simple. Comforting. Reliable.
What I received was essentially a whole loaf of bread with a light suggestion of chicken, a few onions, and what appeared to be a ceremonial dab of mayonnaise. In other words: dry, chewy, and just plain gross.
There were no banana peppers, which was really the only customization. And the first red flag? When I picked up the sandwich and it felt as light as a feather. Never in my life should a cheesesteak feel weightless.
It genuinely seemed like someone tried to compensate for the lack of filling by throwing in approximately one pound of cold fries. That strategy did not work.
To add context: my friends were doing me a solid by picking up dinner and coming over to keep me company after a pretty rough week recovering from an accident. I was sore, cranky, and just wanted a hearty, comforting sandwich. Instead, I got a bread-based metaphor for sadness and disappointment.
I’ve had good experiences here before, which honestly makes this more frustrating. I hope this was a one-off and not the new standard because no one craving comfort food deserves to unwrap a sandwich and feel sadness.
Do better for the next person. Unfortunately, you won’t be getting another order from me. -
Wonderful food and service. Missing one start due to the seats dropping in when you sit. They have food you can't really find anywhere else. Fried artichokes and zucchini fries were good. I got the Italian grinder. It was very good and my friend got the calzone. Very large portions. Prices are reasonable. Server was very friendly. They also serve a verity drinks, including bottled beers and wine. Home style environment.

Wow! I was immediately greeted by a very kind employee who answered many questions and advised me on future vegan orders (whole vegan menu btw). I ended up with the meatball sub (some of the best restaurant meatballs I have ever had) and a house salad (feta and candied pecans with creamy balsamic). 10/10 Togo experience and will definitely return soon.

First time trying the place. Got cheese bread, two pizza slices, and salad with drinks. Everything was more food than we were expecting. Staff was super nice. Only had one other person in the place, but had lots of people coming through for pickups. Def going to add here to new fav places!

Was in town for business and and the family and I went to try and we were happy. Small spot, limited seating, but pretty good food, the guy at the register was on point and he was very friendly. Good job guys!!! We spent over $100 for 6 people and I'm not even complaining 😂 but we also have food for tomorrow!
