Stopped in for a quick coffee and I'm so glad I did. The cafe is super chill with a great quiet atmosphere. It's the perfect place to hang out and sip on your favorite espresso beverage. I didn't try the baked goods but they looked great. Grabbed a bag of their espresso blend to try at home. Really fun cafe and if I'm back in the area I'll definitely be returning.

Quiet, and tucked away in an unassuming building. The coffee here is very very good! The shots were pulled nicely, and the lattes have the right balance of flavor and the right milk/coffee ratio. I got the Mabel and I normally don’t like much lavender but this drink was perfectly balanced.
I highly recommend coming here!

Omie’s is my favorite coffee shop to go to in Durham !! All of the staff are super friendly, their drinks are phenomenal and they always have great pastry options.
My go-to drink is an iced “mabel”, which is genuinely the BEST honey lavender latte you’ll EVER get in the Triangle!
They also have super creative seasonal drink offerings that are worth trying out 😊
Omie’s also uses locally sourced ingredients, roast their own coffee and are super involved in their community 🤍 plenty of parking, too. Go check them out!

From the moment we stepped into Omie’s Coffee Shop in Durham, NC, I knew I was in for a treat. This cafe exudes a warm and welcoming ambiance that makes you want to stay a while. The latte with oat milk Dana ordered was nothing short of fantastic, perfectly brewed with a rich flavor that coffee lovers will appreciate. My cappuccino was nothing less than perfect. It’s clear that Omie’s pays close attention to the quality of their offerings, as the bakery goods, including an exceptionally good cinnamon roll, seemed to be locally sourced or made in-house. The prices were also fantastic, adding to the overall positive experience.
What sets Omie’s apart, though, is its community connection. The cafe has a palpable focus on being community-centric, which is both refreshing and admirable. The owner, Izabella, was the embodiment of this spirit - very nice and attentively focused on our needs, enhancing the overall visit.
Initially, I reserved 5 stars for only the “OMG” level cafes, but reflecting on my experience, Omie’s truly deserves the full five stars. It’s a gem in Durham that serves not just great coffee and bakery items but also a sense of community and warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a place that feels like home.

Omie’s is a cozy place to have a coffee or pastry with friends. They offer a solid, simple menu and work with other local businesses to provide flavor options! They have a brief seasonal menu and some daily specials. The barista made great recommendations! Prices were around $5-6 for a 12-16oz drink. If you’re earth conscious, Omie’s is too with compost and recyclable options when you’re finished.
Most seating sections fit 2-4 people; there are padded and hardwood seats. The seats are somewhat low and may be difficult to get in and out of for some people. The bathroom should be wheelchair accessible and there is a bar by the toilet. There are sections with large windows for natural light and sections without which may be favorable if you have sensory concerns. The road noise can be a bit loud since the location is right on a busy street. They also have a small children’s play area if you want to come here with kiddos!
Parking is tight and immediately off of Roxboro St. However, there is a shopping center directly across the street with a large parking lot that is easily accessible via a lighted crosswalk. It’s relatively close to downtown Durham if that’s your destination but a bit far to walk.
Overall, Omie’s is a light and airy place with a relaxed atmosphere.

Really good espresso and drip coffee! The best part for us was their toddler and kid play area right next to comfy seating in the roasting room. Other perks were definitely the thoughtful space and low waste system (reusable towels in bathroom, labeled compost/recycle/etc, self serve lids on cups), and the really tasty laminated croissant style pull-apart apple muffin. I’ll definitely be getting a bag of beans next time we come.

I’ve been to Omie’s a bunch, but I don’t live close enough to be a regular (wish I did!)
They have a rotating seasonal menu with some fun drinks, recently there was an eggnog latte and brown butter latte. The staff is always friendly, and they take care to make the drinks well.
A great coffee shop, that takes pride in their beverages.

I looked at some of the reviews and had to stop by since I was in the area. A M A Z I N G! The atmosphere was calming and relaxing, a great place to work on papers while sipping well made lattes. I received a sample of one of the coffees that they were selling and just had to buy it. The Barista was friendly and super informative. Above all else one they compost! Trash bags are compostable, all single use plastic is compostable, and of course the coffee. I love a business that thinks about the environment and puts the effort in the small things. If you haven't already been definitely check this place out ☕❤️
