Delicious south Indian food that I want to eat over and over again. Vegan and vegetarian options. I got the vegan South Indian curry with vegetables, and I highly recommend.

First time going to the Food Hall and had an amazing experience. Asked for a suggestion and he suggested the mango chutney at a medium spice and it was delicious. I'm always going to suggest the extra naan🥰

I don't really like Indian food, but after I saw the menu I decided to give it another try based on the wide variety of intriguing menu options that were available that I had never seen before at Indian restaurants. Not only was the food astounding, but the service was spectacular! It was so good, that I went back to place a second order to go as they were closing the kitchen and they were incredibly accomodating, so much so that they were willing to go above and beyond by pulling out the clean pans that they had just put away and made my second order at the last minute! I would 1000% recommend this place... and definitely try the Parotas and the Gulab Jamun!!!!:)

If you like Butter Chicken, This place is your best bet. Great Value and very friendly, helpful and welcoming service. I got the butter chicken, jasmine rice and homemade garlic naan (.50 upcharge no regrets) and then the cashier said I get two sides. To my pleasant surprise, I picked the veggies ( which was seasoned cabbage and green peas but may vary due to season) and homemade mashed potatoes. ALL OF THIS FOR FOURTEEN DOLLARS, UH YES PLEASE. I also tried the Mango Lassi, which was delicious and refreshing. Think Mango milk- yogurt smoothie, but better? I dont know how they do it, You’d just have to go check them out for yourself. And ORDER EXTRA NAAN BREAD. Before I knew it I ate it all 😂 So anytime Im craving Butter Chicken, Im taking the drive here to eat some :) Atmosphere is super chill and relaxed as well. Definitely go.

This place was great. Had their #3 combo South Indian Curry with mashed potatoes and gulag for sides. Just wished they served 2 pieces of gulag instead of 1 but it was very delish all around. Wished I had a photo to share but I pinged out on the meal and forgot to take a snapshot beforehand. My friend had tge lamb saag and loved it. Give this place a go if you near Foster St Food Hall.

Solid chicken biryani for a good price. I like it spicy and they delivered the spice level perfectly.

This food was beyond my expectations. I got the tikka masala plate with basmati rice, paneer, and the chickpeas which were out of this world delicious. To cool off the heat I had the mango lassi which was the perfect compliment to the food. Whenever I am back in Durham I will definitely stop here go eat again. Everyone was very nice and quick to make my dinner. Greatly appreciated.

Amazing people, great food, great portions. This place has some of the best Indian food In all of Raleigh-Durham area. I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala and the samosas, but everything they serve is excellent.

The fried chicken is not worth the amount served. The price did not match the amount we got. The South Indian curry was good and spicy however very disappointed with the fried chicken. This photo was maybe after 4 bites of the chicken. They’re all small nugget pieces. Our garlic naan also had no garlic. Should’ve gotten butter so at least something was on it. The masala was also just plain mashed potatoes. No flavors just plain potatoes. The color u see in the pictures is the butter chicken sauce (minus the chicken) they gave us on the side

If you’re visiting Durham, going to the food hall, or just craving good food then this is your go-to place. Everyone was super helpful in giving recommendations, explaining the menu, etc. They had the chewiest and most flavorful naan I’ve had in a long while. Everything from the chickpeas to the South Indian curry was perfectly seasoned and noticeably made with a passion. The story of this spot is wonderful so make sure you read their history as well.

The chicken biriyani was super tasty! Very healthy portion as well. Chicken 65 is not traditional, but the chicken is fried well. Ordered food HOT and it was VERY HOT - happy with it!

Editing my review for 2nd visit
Little spot inside the Durham Food Hall. Small limited menu. Got the chicken biryani.
They surprised me with the portion size. Even more surprising was the enhanced flavor. This visit was simply superb! The service was wonderful. The food outstanding and flavorful. Hoping they branch out to a larger place as the DFH is not my type of date place but damn this food could be fine dining
Great job!

Don’t sleep on the egg porial. Delicious and made fresh to order (a bit of a wait but worth it). The lunch portions are also really good size. I wish the rice was on the side because my curry was pretty spicy (I ordered the South Indian curry - medium). But they did give an entire roti as well so it was a lot of food! I like that the curry felt freshly made! The cabbage is good, but the Chana could use some work.

Amazing food, assistance with ordering was more than perfect, and absolutely love the food hall vibes. Also love that there’s no tipping, as the restaurant includes livable wage in the bill. Will definitely be coming back.
