Definitely very unique for a Korean restaurant. Drinks, starters, entrees, and dessert were all enjoyable. Not sure why they have sake and not soju though. Definitely don’t skip on the fried chicken or kimchi dumplings. The paella and lasagne were great but could be executed much better. Pork belly and Wagyu shabu shabu was amazing.
I’ve been to several of the M restaurants, this one is up on the list. Service and ambiance was great, the place was a bit hard to find from the outside though. -
Had the pleasure of trying the newly opened M Hansik, the latest from the M restaurant collection — elevated Korean fine dining that still stays true to its roots. You could tell they put a lot of thought into the decor and the presentation, from the space itself to the plating of every dish. All the food was delicious, but the standouts to me were the fried chicken, the bokeum bap paella, and a phenomenal black sesame ice cream. Highly recommend. 🇰🇷 -
I've been there 3times, All of friends who went there together liked foods and experience there. -
My best friend and I went today, and everything was so so good. We both love Korean cuisine. The Galbi was incredibly tender and full of flavor. The fried chicken had the perfect crunch and was seasoned really well. We also got the Gujeolpan, which was fun to share and had such a great mix of fresh flavors.
The oysters were amazing too. I loved that they’re sourced locally from Cape Lookout and Harkers Island—they were some of the freshest oysters I’ve had.
We ended with the Bingsu, and it was the perfect dessert. Light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. You’ve got to pair it with their coffee!! Chef’s kiss!
The service was so kind and quick. The atmosphere had an elegantly modern touch. We’ll definitely be back!! If you’re in the triangle area, the drive to Durham is absolutely worth it! -
We had an amazing dinner here last night! Everything we ordered was so good. The Kongaru & Caviar was my favorite, the warm house-made sourdough with the creamy soybean spread and caviar was such a delicious combination. The Jjajiang lasagna was so unique and ended up being one of my favorite dishes. Everything we tried was packed with flavor. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!
