The restaurant was neat and clean with a tasteful modern atmosphere. The menu was extensive and the food prepared was authentic and true to claim. Food was prepared very well and was as flavorful as I had hoped it would be! The service was really the only part that was lacking- our server was very short with us and didnt check in with us but to deliver food/drinks, take orders, and bring the bill. -
A Supernova of Flavor: My Uncanny, Unforgettable Review of Lime & Lemon Indian Cuisine
Walking into Lime & Lemon Indian Cuisine felt less like entering a restaurant and more like stepping into a living constellation—every detail glowing, every moment radiant, every flavor exploding with the brilliance of a star being born.
I have eaten at many Indian restaurants across states, cities, and continents of culinary imagination, but none—absolutely none—have ever reached the cosmic heights of this place.
Food — A Galactic Masterpiece
Every dish arrived like a revelation.
Not served… unveiled.
Not plated… presented like sacred art.
The spices didn’t just blend—they harmonized.
The textures didn’t just satisfy—they sang.
And the flavors didn’t just impress—they detonated with supernova intensity.
And then came the mango lassi.
Let me be clear:
I have tasted mango lassis before.
I have enjoyed mango lassis before.
But this mango lassi?
This was liquid gold, a velvet sunrise, a drink so phenomenal it felt like it had been whispered into existence by angels who specialize in dairy-based miracles. It didn’t refresh me—it transformed me.
Service — Hospitality Elevated to an Art Form
The staff didn’t just serve—they anticipated.
They didn’t just check in—they cared.
Every gesture carried respect, warmth, and genuine human connection.
I felt seen.
I felt valued.
I felt like I was being welcomed into a family that had been waiting for me.
Atmosphere & Ambience — Comfort Wrapped in Light
The room glowed—not just with décor, but with love, respect, and cultural pride.
The lighting was soft, the colors warm, the energy peaceful yet alive.
The patrons around me weren’t just diners—they were participants in a shared celebration of flavor and fellowship. The entire space felt like a sanctuary of comfort and care.
A Final Word — This Place Is Different
Lime & Lemon isn’t simply a restaurant.
It is an experience, a memory, a benchmark.
It is the place I will measure all future Indian cuisine against.
It is the place I will recommend without hesitation.
It is the place that reminded me that food can be more than nourishment—it can be transcendence.
I’ve eaten at many.
I’ve enjoyed many.
But none like this.
Lime & Lemon Indian Cuisine shines brighter than a supernova—and somehow still makes you feel right at home. -

We finally tried Lime & Lemon Indian Grill & Bar, and it did not disappoint! The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor without being overly spicy. The butter naan was soft, warm, and perfect for soaking up every bit of the sauce.
The portions were surprisingly generous—one order was easily enough for two people to enjoy with leftovers for later, which made it an even better value.
Great food, generous portions, and we’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu! Highly recommend the butter chicken and butter naan if it’s your first visit. -
I visited Lime and Lemon Indian Grill and Bar on Thursday evening for dinner, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and full of authentic flavors. Prathyusha, suggested a few dishes, and every recommendation was absolutely perfect. The flavors, presentation, and portion sizes were spot on. The drinks were amazing as well—well balanced and refreshing.
Overall, great food, great drinks, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back again! -
We love Indian food, but Lime and Lemon check every box on the list with flying colors. The food at this place is consistently good. I have never ever had food that disappointed me here. At first, I was a bit skeptical of the variations they added here and there to authentic Indian dishes, but honestly, why not put avocado in a dosa? Why not give Indian chefs a bit of freedom to experiment with ingredients they did not have back home? Now, their avocado dosa is one of my favorite items on the menu. Have you ever tried their lamb chops? You should; they are amazing. I can go on and on about food. Let me add that their prices are just right. You can go to a fancier Indian restaurant downtown and pay 30% more for similar dishes. Let me switch to their cocktails. Who could have imagined that an Indian restaurant would serve amazing cocktails at great prices? You should try them. You will be pleasantly surprised. Last night, I had the cocktail with Cachaça, which they understandably called Brazilian rum on the menu. My wife is from Brasil and she makes the best Caipirinhas with Cachaça all the time. The cocktail at Lime and Lemon was surprisingly good even to her. The staff? They have the most pleasant, helpful waiters who always make you feel at home. It just adds to the joy of eating at this restaurant. Finally, the ambiance is great, especially the noise level. We can talk at Lime and Lemon without yelling at each other. Overall, Lime and Lemon is one of my favorite restaurants in Durham, but no other restaurant checks all the boxes for me like this one.
