This playground was updated about a year ago but we weren’t able to get to it due to Covid restrictions. They did an excellent job! My children between the ages of 1.5 and 10 were all able to find something to do that kept them occupied for an hour. They would’ve stayed longer if I let them. The play structure was labeled for ages 5-12 but my 1.5 year old was able to navigate it with ease. It’s on a woodchuck surface. There are 4 different slides, monkey bars, a rock climbing wall, a swing set for older kids (no toddler swing, an open field, a colorful court with hopscotch on it and a basketball court through the trees. There’s a small shelter with two picnic tables. There’s a bench in the shade. There’s very little shade on the play structure itself but it wasn’t hot. The parking lot may fit 10 cars. It was very clean open space.
They recently added a restroom and cleared out some bushes/trees so you can see the basketball court better from the play area! -
Cute park with a big play structure. Seems pretty new! Easy parking right by playground too! Is close to a big road but plenty of room to play safely -
This place was awesome, where kids could play and shoot hoops. Unfortunately, the four basketball rings were bent for unknown reasons and may pose a safety risk for playing. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon. -
The park has had a major overhaul! The Bragtown Community Association, local residents, and community partners have lobbied for improvements. The basketball court has been repainted, a new bathroom was installed, and a lot of trees were trimmed to provide better visibility. Celebrating the annual Juneteenth event in the new space was awesome!!! -
I love the small size of this park. The playground is right by the shelter. Which makes it great for the kids and events. However, the benches in the shelter need TLC. They are very weak. There is no outlets and no public restroom. Which was terrible.
