Ramen flavor is good. Not 100% authentic Japanese but it’s not bad. The noodle was cooked perfect and the broth was surprisingly not too salty but flavorful. Their skewer squid was good. Spicy and full of cumin. I wish it was a bit more chard. Chicken karage was ok. Wish the meat was seasoned

Price: Mixed Value
At about $15 per person, the value was a bit mixed. My portion size was okay, but I felt my son's portion was a little small for what we paid.
Quality: Fresh Ingredients
The food quality is solid. The octopus balls (takoyaki) were served hot and fresh. The noodles in my bowl were very fresh as well, though it felt like a specific seasoning was missing.
Range: Impressive Selection
They have a much greater range than our local ramen spot. I was really impressed to see hibachi and bento boxes offered alongside the ramen, plus they have a very wide selection of appetizers to choose from.
Service: Friendly but Busy
The staff was friendly, but service was on the slower side because they were incredibly busy (there was only one table available when we walked in). They did mix up my son's order, bringing him shrimp instead of the chicken he asked for. We didn't send it back because he ended up liking it, but it is worth noting. Additionally, we had to get up to grab our own utensils and napkins.
Taste: Good Overall Flavor
Overall, everything tasted good and nothing was bad. My son really enjoyed his (accidental) shrimp noodles, and if you find your broth needs a little something extra, they conveniently provide a few different sauces (like chili sauce) right on the table so you can spice up your meal exactly to your liking. -
Absolutely delicious Japanese food. Wonderful service, aesthetically beautiful dishes! Highly recommend this stop near Duke chapel.

I love the look of the restaurant and was excited to try a new ramen place. The interior looked very cute and Japanesey. That's where the positive stopped for me. We came with my son and asked for a high chair, the server pointed at the high chairs indicating for the person holding a baby in hand to carry the high chair. -1 Star.
She asked if we're ready to order and we told her we were ready to order, she said wait and came back after 8 minutes. It's a very small restaurant. It should not take 8 minutes to get back for a table that's ready to order.
The Ramen: the broth is ok. However, they didn't blanch the bones or the pork foot flavor overwhelmed the broth. The chase they used is pork foot and not pork belly. Also, the ramen egg was nearly fully cooked. Definitely not a ramen egg. -2 stars for food quality. Overall, it's a mediocre edible ramen restaurant that you go to when youre drunk.
Skip if you love ramen. Its fine if youre not really into quality ramen. -
Really tasty ramen! I went with my sister in law and niece. The baby slept the entire time (a plus for their vibes). The store is decorated with pink trees and flags. We ordered the tonkotsu ramen with pork and miso ramen with veggies. I loved the veggie ramen because they gave a very wide variety of veggies - mushrooms, carrots, celery, broccoli, green onions, and corn. Both ramens came with half a hard-boiled egg. Decent portion sizes for the price ($17 each) and the broth was delicious. The waitress was also really friendly.
