Had a great experience and enjoyed the extra boost (I don’t recall if that’s what it was called) overall I’d recommend. The flavors match the taste even with protein you don’t get the chalky taste. That being said I don’t mind the taste of protein so I may not notice as much as others. -
Considering there's not so many fruit in North America, the menu is vast. They are very nice and customize options if you don't like some of the fruit in the recipe of your smoothie.

I had Island pitaya bowl and pb chocolate love smoothie. My friend had chunky strawberry bowl and orange C booster. These were both Very very very good. Service was amazing 👏

Nice location very clean. Just like all jamba juices this one has an outdoor patio and is located downtown. Fast and friendly service and free boost shots!

The manager, Ms. Nikki, has made Jamba an even more enjoyable place to get smoothies since the store is under new ownership.
She always greets me by my name and remembers my order. She hires staff who are kind-hearted, people-oriented, and good at interacting with customers.
I trust the cleanliness of this location much more than I did before.
Backstory. I came to Durham from LA 17 years ago. In LA, I lived at Jamba. I was ecstatic when they opened one on 9th St. The service, cleanliness, and food quality were often more miss than hit, but I kept supporting because I love the smoothies.
There were a few folks who were consistently wonderful, including Jupiter. But they were poorly compensated and often under-resourced so they left for a better gig.
I'm really glad Ms. Nikki turned this place around. Getting a smoothie should be a joyful, stress-free experience.
