I noticed Icon Beauty driving by and was delighted to see that they had a wide variety of items in stock. I needed some Got2B for a last-minute trip and they had exactly what I needed. I was able to make my purchase and go about my day within 5 minutes. I would be back to see what else they have to offer when I have more time. I also love the fact that this store is black-owned and Operated, definitely a plus.

Frequent customer: I love the atmosphere, they play gospel music. Customer service is good and they seem very helpful each time I have been to purchase something.They have the main things you need for hair like shampoo, conditioner, gel, and hair accessories. If you just need braid hair they have plenty of that but not a lot options for crochet styles and ponytail extensions. The store is not big but if you are looking for the basics they have it. I am glad this store is located in the part of Durham/morrisville.

Terrible experience I would absolutely not recommend anyone spending their money here. You try to support the businesses and businesses like this remind you why you should not terrible customer service. First time visiting employee did not explain that there is no return refunds. Only exchanges, employee helped me find what I needed for 5 to 10 minutes and it was still the wrong product and would not give me a refund nor did she tell me at the time of purchase that there is only exchanges no refund. When I came back in to get a refund she had an attitude with me and I tried to reason with her explaining that this was my first time in there. She kept referring to the policy at the register with a nasty attitude. Unfortunately for myself I did not see the policy but she still would not give me a refund. After it was her error in my purchase choice. Don't spend your money here.

Crooked business practice. I don't recommend ordering online from this beauty supply store.

I placed an order on March 22, 2026, and received a shipping confirmation with a tracking number that never worked. After reaching out, I was told a replacement order had been sent, along with a new tracking number that also did not work.

Upon request, I received a few follow-up emails with vague updates. The last email I got claimed my order had been delivered to the post office, with a promise to investigate further. Why would my order be delivered to the post office if my address was correctly provided on both the original and replacement order?
Since then, I've been ghosted despite requesting a refund. At this point, I expect I’ll need to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back for an order that never arrived.
Overall, a frustrating and unorganized experience. AVOID!

The sales person was very nice. The store was clean. The atmosphere was peaceful. The prices are high compared to where I normally shop. The selection is very small. I won't be shopping here again unless I am in a bind and have no other place available to get my beauty products.
