Get there early so you can try the banana pudding and cobblers. They were out by the time we arrived. My Brunswick stew was good. All the food was good not great. The restaurant is a an old time country restaurant. It’s a little tired and dirty on the inside but it kind of fits the vibe. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

I come here at least once a week, sometimes 3. Lady working the window in Saturdays has a nasty attitude. I’ll never stop coming here but I’ll stop coming on the days she works. Everyone else working the window is so nice and says hello. This lady just stares at you until you order… doesn’t bother me that bad but to ask me if I want a hush puppies or rolls and give me the opposite of what I ask for is crazy.. starting to feel like I’m being pranked lol. This has only happened when she takes my order…I’m currently staring at hushpuppies although I asked for a roll. Why ask what I want if you gonna give me what you want anyway??? good food tho for the price I love itttt. But get that mean lady off the window. Only time she talks is to say the total.

This is a great place to get home cooked food. I have patronized this restaurant for numerous years. I’ve never been disappointed.

Filling & delicious food prepared by some Amazing people! Everyone is always welcoming and the portions are just right. Love that the menu is simple, but still has something for everyone.

I purchased fried fish for a repass. I changed the time for pick up twice. But the staff remained friendly and the fish was a big hit. Thanks for your patience
