After watching Bull Durham 100 times, it was awesome to finally visit the field. The former home of the Bulls, still hosts local high school teams as well as travel ball tournaments. The grounds crew welcomed me inside after seeing me looking through the fence. Jimmy was awesome and gave me a ball from the tournament and let me walk around and take pictures.
If you've seen the movie and are a baseball fan, you should definitely visit when in Durham. -
This is a beautiful ball field in a classic stadium. The playing field is immaculate and well-maintained by a dedicated grounds crew.
Home of the Durham Bulls for many years and one of the locations where they filmed the movie "Bull Durham". Field now hosts a variety of high school, college, and other games. -
I coach a travel baseball team from Ohio and we got a chance to play a game here. What an awesome experience! The field was in great shape and the kids had a blast. Definitely recommend this if you get a chance to play here.

There is confusion between Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DBAP) and the Durham Athletic Park (DAP).
The historic DAP holds college and recreational baseball. This is where film was shot. The DBAP is the home stadium of the Durham Bulls, currently Rays affiliate. They are close to each other.
