Founders Angela Salamanca and Marshall Davis have sold over 50,000 handcrafted crunchwraps and burritos since opening -- if you need to know what you're missing out on. The fast-casual Mexican concept initially intended to focus on tamales, but the beloved crunchwraps have taken on a life of their own, becoming a staple for folks to enjoy downtown. Be sure to check their Instagram Page (@exvoto.durham) for must-try specials or pop-up breakfast offerings, too.

THIS PLACE IS A NATIONAL TREASURE. 🏴‍☠️ The menu looked great and drew me in, but it wasn’t really until seeing the [amazing] merch that I realized this was mostly a place for crunchwraps 🤤 Open up a spot in Maryland — holy shijos. So amazing. Will be back, and will have to fight myself to not order this again and try one of the other restaurants— because it was phenomenal. We had the chicken, and a beef; both were great, and hopefully we line up the next pass through for me to try that skramp 🦐 Gracias 🙏

We stopped by here after moving our daughter in to NCCU and man! I wish we had a place like this in Philly! We got the 7 layer bowl, the beef crunch wrap, and the chicken crunch wrap. The ingredients were so fresh and everything was delicious and the portions were huge! Please do yourself a favor and stop by if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it!

Located in the Durham Food Hall. Highly recommend! 👍 The Beef Barbacoa Crunchwrap is so delicious! It’s very filling — I could not eat the whole thing but I wish I could have! It’s amazing.

Highly recommend! Amazing option if you are in the food hall or just looking for good Mexican food in Durham. The crunch wrap was amazing, as was the seven layer bowl.
