I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and it felt racially biased. As a Black customer, I was treated very differently than others around me. The staff made my ending process unnecessarily difficult, What should have been a simple rental turned into a stressful and uncomfortable situation. I felt watched, doubted, and disrespected every time! No customer should feel profiled or treated unfairly because of their race. Enterprise needs to seriously address how its employees treat Black customers and provide better training on bias, respect, and customer service. I rent from this place numerous times I’m a platinum member and everytime it the same treatment! Me looking at my rental agreement each week the rate went up after the price was set for the week me been a platinum member doesn’t matter HUH and to top it off they charge me a extra hour on the return for been 30 minute late!! I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN CARRY MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE RESPECT IS SHOWN !!!!!!!! -
**Update** Enterprise responds to poor Google reviews with the same exact link to send you to their customer service chat. Nothing gets resolved. You're brushed off and told an area manager will call you. No one calls. I contacted customer service again today and they said the managers don't have time to call! ***
If you’re considering renting from this location, I strongly suggest reconsidering. I rented a vehicle for about a week and a half, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
During pickup, I was taken outside to review the vehicle while the representative marked off details on the contract. She verbally went over the information, and I specifically declined the additional daily coverage, clearly explaining my reason. However, because it was very cold and windy, I was rushed through the process and instructed to initial all sections, which I did.
After receiving my invoice, I discovered I had been charged over $300 for the extra coverage I explicitly declined. When I contacted customer service, I was told to speak with the location manager. Unfortunately, he was dismissive and refused to hear my explanation, repeatedly stating, “A CONTRACT IS A CONTRACT,” despite the circumstances.
The vehicle smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and had noticeable transmission issues.
I contacted customer service again and was told the area manager would reach out to me. It has been over a week, and I have received no follow-up. This lack of accountability and concern for customers is unacceptable.
I will not be renting from this location again and hope others avoid a similar experience. -
I contemplated doing this review for over a month now but here we go. I went with my dad to the Page Road location on 4/3/26 we had a reservation. I can’t fully explain but the guy working there was extremely arrogant. I was renting a midsize. I rent from Enterprise all of the time and my dad also refers a lot of customers to this location. Well the guy told us the price of the insurance through enterprise and my dad thought it was a one time fee and not daily. I told my dad I never get that I use my own. So when the guy came back in my dad said sir we would like to take off that insurance. He said sir we are giving her a $30,000 car. My dad said “you are not GIVING her anything she is renting it. And don’t talk to me that way, I can buy that car 3 times over.” My dad overreacted but that guy treated us like we didn’t deserve to rent anything and definitely seemed racist. The guy said you don’t need to rent here and totally dismissed me because of him and my dad’s disagreement. My dad said I send a lot business here and we will not be coming back. My daughter started crying because she had a out of town volleyball tournament and she was scared we were going to miss it. We ended up going to another location and were treated amazing. We have since rented from the other location twice. My dad now sends all of his customers to the other location. This page rd location should definitely train their employees to treat everyone the same. And that they DONT have to purchase add ons because you suggest it. I don’t know the guys name that was working but he was the only one there that morning. I will never forget his face though. Very hateful. -
If your African American be ready to show proof of address, declarations page and a bill. And be ready to be harassed about how do I know if my vehicle will be covered and how do I know if my vehicle won’t get damaged. And yada yada yada. First of all I have rented from Enterprise for years and I never had this issue. They asked you if you want insurance and if you decline, they don’t give you the third degree about their vehicle like it’s theirs personally. It’s not your vehicle you might be the branch manager, but the vehicle belongs to Enterprise, and the more people that gets to rent a vehicle the more money enterprise makes. So this salesman is not meeting his quota ever again. I rented here but it is the first and last time -
This manager has a huge EGO; I would recommend he be re-trained to understand just because a customer voices their opinion about how they handled a situation you don’t go straight to “I’m going to cancel your reservation”. As an individual I would never be rude if someone from the public that’s a customer “I RENT A LOT FROM ENTERPRISE” state how they feel on not being able to come & get a vehicle that was reserved 48 hours prior to pick up but I say all this to say we should all be mindful on how you treat people because you just never know how or if you ever cross that person’s path again. I try my best to be a good person even when I might be upset its respect within anything, God bless!
