Terrible customer service. I called to see if Fields were available to play on as there are no schedules online saying when the fields are reserved. The lady on the phone was very rude and just seemed like she was bothered that I was calling. Not sure why she's upset about doing her job. I pay to much taxes to not get help from this department. -
I am a single parent, dropping and picking up my kid to and fro from my work place that has no parking facility. So basically I take bus to reach home, take my car to pickup my kid from an ever under construction road. I am asked to pay 20 dollars for being 4 minutes late. This is second time I am being charged for this money. You don’t understand basic problems of parents, sad and inhospitable. It’s not that I am taking any facility or service from you in 4-5 min when my kid is just under the roof. Disappointed. -
A great place and center that is trying to help the city of Durham and Bahama to become "Best of The Bull". -
I live near Lake Michie and the park at the end of Archery Range Road. The place is littered with garbage, used condoms, uncut grass and full garbage cans. What a disgrace! This little park is an area that locals walk to every day but lately has been taken over by an rowdy group of people that have started fires, tear up the greenspaces doing 'donuts' with their cars and generally abuse a lovely spot that the cubscouts used for uears! Please help! -
Massive public thank you to my parks & rec angel Ms LaTonya. The doors open at 8am. I walked in at 8:03 needing help fixing a shelter reservation. She hadn’t even logged on but listened to my story with patience and kindness. She also reassured me that I hadn’t messed anything up, double checked everything and made copies for me to take home just in case. All before she had even eaten breakfast. These are the acts of kindness that deserve all the gratitude. It may not have been a big deal to her but it meant so much to me and I wanted to share my story.
