Good barbecue sandwiches but it was a bit weird being served on Texas toast. This is North Carolina, why are you doing Texas things? But I'm an out-of--towner who doesn't know North Carolina BBQ from Texas BBQ so oh well. But it was good. Not great, but good. Sauce was good too. I had the vinegar sauce. Just remember to shake it up first. Sweet tea wasn't all that sweet considering this is the south but that's OK with me. But I was looking forward to some real southern hyper sweet tea and all I got was normal sweet tea. Boring, but fine I guess. You order at a counter here and they serve you quickly and efficiently. I liked the hush puppies too. Like Hush Puppy in Shari Lewis, only a food. It is yummy. Reminds me of my childhood watching Lamb Chop, Charlie Horse, and Hush Puppy. They have many booths and tables, more than enough.
