If you want an easy workout, this is not the place to be. If you want a workout that will reacquaint you with what your body is capable of, Warriors Playground is THE place to go. The exercises are innovative, efficient, and effective. Each 1 hour circuit workout involves several stations with 1.5 minutes on, 15 seconds off. Everything is ready to go when you walk in the door, and you're in and out of there in an hour with ZERO time wasted feeling like you had the best workout of your life.
One of the things I appreciated most was the level of attention from the trainer during the workout. Trainer strikes a perfect balance of being encouraging, keeping everyone accountable during the workout, and observing everyone's individual safe limits.
Really, really fantastic gym. Some of the best workouts I've ever had.

Before I started at Warriors Playground I was a poor, ugly and out of shape nerd. After a few months I was transformed into a handsome IT thousandaire, who could beat the snot out of my former self. All jokes aside, this place is great. For me, it felt like I had a personal trainer. I had just moved to the area, and was living in an apartment nearby with my wife and kids while house hunting. Our new home is too far into Raleigh, so I sadly had to cancel in search of a closer gym. Thank you Barrett and Kevin (and all the folks I met who worked out there). Great atmosphere, great workouts!

As a cardio-junkie and marathon runner, I HATE strength training. It’s not for me, despite it being a really important component of cross training and staying healthy and injury-free. I found Warrior’s Playground in August, and started with their cardio strength classes because they essentially tricked me into enjoying strength training. I’ve since moved on to incorporating the pure strength-focused classes into my routine. This is to say, I’ve grown to LOVE this place and how strong it’s made me. I really believe that because of the functional strength exercises that are used in the classes, I’ve been able to race my best without injury. I’d recommend this place HIGHLY to anyone looking to get stronger, but also to the runners and triathletes out there who view strength training as a chore. Take the leap, try some classes, and have fun actually strength training!!

Put in the time and see the difference!
Barrett is a great trainer will make sure that you get all you can out of your experience, your workout, and yourself. He keeps it challenging yet interesting and leaves you hurting (in a good way) yet coming back for more. I can’t say enough good things about this gym. It’s clean, it’s inviting, it has a great staff and delivers great results. Try it and see for yourself.

You get such a great workout everytime the instructor is so helpful i really wouldnt think of going to a boring regular gym ever again.
