Nice hotel with pleasant staff. It was nice to come back after a day out to a clean room restocked with towels. Unfortunately some of the Choice Hotels do not clean the rooms unless you request it or after a two day stay. Definitely would stay here again on my trips to Durham.

I stayed at this Comfort Inn Wednesday and Thursday of last week. The room was reasonably clean and the bathroom seemed to have been recently updated although poor shower waterpressure. Front desk and maid service was polite and efficient. Parking was decent.
The Hotel Breakfast was substandard with limited eating space. No coffee available on Thursday. The eating area reminded me of a hospital waiting room.

During out visit to Durham for a medical appointment our car suffered a failure on the way to the appointment. Thankfully it occurred across the street from the Hotel. The Hotel arranged for emergency shuttle to Duke (not far away) in order to ensure that we got to our appointment, and arranged for a return shuttle. Their staff are FREAKING AWESOME. Helpful, friendly, and go beyond what is necessary. Their breakfasts are great too! Not just packaged Danishes, but hot omelets, sausage patties and make-yourself-waffles. The room was clean and the walk-in shower was a pleasant surprises. The shower head/wand was adjustable which was nice for a taller person. While we did not take advantage of it, there was a computer and printer available in the lobby, exercise equipment/pool, AND a wide variety of snacks. This place is AWESOME. From now on out this will the ONLY hotel in Durham that we will ever stay at.

Clean. Pretty quiet for a location as close as it is to a major highway. The breakfast buffet was excellent value. The lemon infused ice water in the lobby was a really nice and thoughtful touch. Our room had clearly been renovated not too long ago. I have no complaints at all. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is to avoid giving the impression of more "luxury" than it has. I don't really care about that level of luxury, but I do care about value and I don't have any qualms about staying here again in the future.

I drive truck all over the country and I have stayed here 4-5 days every month since Sept 2022. I have enjoyed my stay every time. There are two restaurants, a BP gas station, Truist Bank, and Duke medical services just across the street. The Harris Teeter grocery store and all the major fast food places and a shopping center are within two miles away. The beds are comfortable and the fridge, microwave, large flat screen tv, desk space, and free standing closet space are useful. The breakfast is self serve and includes cereal, eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, muffins, bread, fruit, juice, and coffee.
