Great first time experience. Was looking for some decent bbq and gave this place a try. The brisket and ribs both fall apart easily and you can pick how fatty or lean your brisket is. They have a variety of bbq sauces you can pick, the carolina vinegar based one was outstanding if you are into to vinegar. Can't go wrong with any of the sides..they let you try whatever you are interested in so no need to worry there. The staff were nice, Brian was extremely helpful with getting me what I needed so if you happen to go, ask for him to help you out. Overall solid choice, location is clean and convenient, decent amount of seating, nicely organized and there's plenty of parking.

We tried the City Sampler, and it was a great way to taste a variety of the menu. The selection of BBQ sauces was a nice touch, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. The food itself was good overall, although it arrived warm rather than hot, which was a little disappointing. Even so, the flavors were solid, and we enjoyed the meal. We'd definitely consider coming back to try more items.

I had a fantastic experience at this City BBQ location! The food was amazing, but the customer service was truly beautiful and inviting. Katie was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. I was having trouble deciding what to get, and she shared one of her personal favorites to help me choose. That kind of top-tier service makes a huge difference. I will definitely be back!

City Barbeque was highly recommended so my wife and I decided to go. We were not disappointed in our choice. As you pull into the parking lot, you are hit with the wonderful unmistakable aroma of barbecue. The menu is full of so many delicious looking items it is hard to choose what to try. We decided split a Judges Sampler so we could try a little of everything. We decided to get the breast and wing, the brisket, pulled pork and the ribs for our meats and baked beans and corn pudding as our sides. We also added a side of mac and cheese. The chicken was smoked to perfection and knocks your socks off once paired with the barbecue sauce. We mixed the sweet sauce with the vinegar sauce. Gives you the best of both worlds. The brisket was super tender and flavorful. We ate every last piece of that including the tiny bit of fat on the meat. The pulled pork was juicy with a deep smoke flavor. I made a sandwich using some pulled pork and a slice of texas toast. That with some sauce was money! The ribs were perfect! The meat didn't fall off the bone when you picked them up however it came off VERY easily when you bite into the meat. They too had an amazing smoke flavor and were complimented by the barbecue sauce. Last but not least the sides. The mac and cheese and corn pudding were AMAZING. My wife and I crushed the mac and cheese. The baked beans were good but not as good as the other sides. The Judge's Sampler has a lot of food. We ended up taking most of the chicken, half of the ribs, and some of the sides home with us. We definitely will visit again when we are in the area.

Decided to order the 3-item side plate with mac and cheese and collards. Bad decision!!! The collards were dry and the mac and cheese was disgusting. It was milky and loose in some parts (from a cheese sauce of some sort), had a sharp cheddar taste that was overkill and the cheese was not evenly distributed, but had cheese chunks tossed in. This is not real mac and cheese and whoever prepared it did a terrible job… just awful! City BBQ is going downhill with this side dish. If you’re looking for real ‘soul food’ mac n’ cheese, this is not the place. Do not order it here!!!
