Rodrick Bailey the manager took my order witch was a 2 peace Limon pepper and one I got to my bust stop I looked in my box it was a 2 peace with out the Limon pepper smh all he could say was bring it back and he'll fix it today like man I just tould you I was on the bus trying to get back to my kids I'm down there twice a week why he just couldn't make it right the next time .

I drove 30 minutes to go through drive thru and ordered dark 2 piece told no drumsticks and so I got a thigh and wing and was up charged then I ask for fresh fries and fresh okra
Unacceptable
I asked when paying if it was fresh and cashier said yes and be blessed -
Location is the better area compared to other churchs chicken. We had a big order but they had the order fully ready when we came in. The chicken was hot and spicy. Would recommend. You go to a churchs for the chicken and not the atmosphere, so it's a 5 In my books

This place in Durham has been around for years. It was busy, the older guy was the cook and I appreciated the young help he had working. They seemed a bit overwhelmed but they handled their business and took care of the customers without a fuss. Hats off to you all.

During my visit to Church's Chicken in Durham, North Carolina, I was pleased to encounter a welcoming and professional staff, particularly Talia. Despite this positive interaction, the environment inside the restaurant was problematic due to the malfunctioning air conditioning system, which emitted hot air, lacked proper ventilation, and contributed to increased humidity and heat. Thus, the interior temperature was significantly higher than outside, registering at 87° Fahrenheit. I respectfully urge management or ownership to fix the ventilation and climate control so that both employees and customers can enjoy a comfortable environment. It is unacceptable for employees to work under such conditions or for customers to be exposed to inadequate ventilation and climate control when dining in or placing orders. It was so unbearably hot and humid in the restaurant that we didn't really get to enjoy our food while dining in. The food quality was satisfactory, the restaurant was clean, and the staff demonstrated professionalism. Lack of air conditioning and improper ventilation is my only complaint and the reason for the three star rating.
