Taiba is hands down the best Halal butcher in the Triangle. Prices are reasonable, service is fast, the employees and owners are friendly, the butchering area is clean, and very importantly, the meat is high quality and always fresh.

I have been going to Taiba for the past 7 years or so and I don’t think I have ever bought meat or chicken that spoiled or was poor quality. I cannot say the same about the other Halal butchers I have purchased from in the area.

The grocery store is also great. It is always well stocked and has a decent variety of options, especially considering the size of the store.

Excellent Middle Eastern grocery with a great selection of essentials. They stock fresh halal meat, a good variety of breads, and plenty of pantry staples. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the prices are fair, and it’s a reliable place to shop if you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern ingredients.

If you are looking for high-quality Halal food and meat, I highly recommend this store. I have lived in the Durham area for the past 25 years, and it is by far the best option I have found.
They offer excellent fresh meat—including goat, lamb, and beef—along with a great selection of groceries. The store is exceptionally clean, and the staff consistently provides outstanding customer service, always going out of their way to assist.

Ethnic middle eastern grocery store with many lamb options. Unfortunately when I came one Sat morning for ground jamb, was told sold out which is a big bummer as I came all this way to get that for a special occasion as I wanted fresh ground lamb that is not in a plastic package if possible. Guess I should call before driving over.
