This Black-owned candle company offers affordable, hand-poured, soy wax candles in a multitude of scents. All of the candles are lead, paraben, paraffin and phthalate free, making them both great smelling and non-toxic. In addition to selling some of the best smelling candles around, The Raw Edition also hosts candle pouring classes.
My wife and I got tickets to do the candle making session held in Fenton Park, Cary NC. The experience was magical and Ticca made us feel right at home and made the experience interactive with others at the group. Would recommend all products and events that come from The Raw Edition Candle Company!

This past weekend, The Raw Candle Company hosted the most incredible bachelorette party for my sister—and we are still buzzing from how perfect everything was! If you're looking for something fun, creative, and completely outside-the-box, this is your spot.
From the moment we arrived, the vibe was immaculate. We had the entire studio to ourselves, which made it feel extra intimate and special. The team went above and beyond, adding personal bridal touches like “cheers” napkins, fun games, and other adorable details that made everything feel customized just for us.
Now, let’s talk about the candle-making! Who knew learning about candles could be so fun? It was engaging, hands-on, and honestly such a unique twist on your typical bachelorette activity. We were laughing, learning, and creating something beautiful—all at once.
The space was spotless, the customer service was top-notch, and the whole experience felt so well thought out and intentional.
I cannot thank the owner, Ticca, enough for taking such great care of us! Her warmth, attention to detail, and passion for what she does truly made the day unforgettable.

If I could give six stars, I would! My wife and I had The absolute honor and blessing of having Ticca lead us through a candlemaking session on Valentine’s Day. I never expected to have as much fun and as many belly laughs pouring candles as we did with Ticca. Her energy is contagious and warm, her smile and positivity radiates, in all she does, and is clearly incredibly gifted at teaching. I really can’t say enough about her. It’s worth any amount.
