One of my favorite places to grab a to go order. Although they specifically specialize in breakfast, its definitely one of the best places to grab a to go order that tastes like grandma's kitchen & doesn't break the bank! Wordup, Tater Bread is a cornerstone in Durham & has a black owner who has been vital in our Durham community for years. So go grab a breakfast plate!

Friendly neighborhood breakfast takeout. Often you'll meet native Durhamites while waiting for your order. I have been here 20 years but not native. I normally buy a bacon, egg, cheese on toast and a bowl of grits or corned beef hash. Cash only & cashapp.

Largest steak and egg biscuit I think I've ever eaten. That and their hash brown potato was only $8. Tasty food and friendly service.

Another favorite breakfast spot in Durham!!! Food is always fresh, delicious, and made with love! The salmon cakes are always amazing! That and the buttery grits with cheese, soft scrambled eggs with cheese, and a soft biscuit, is my usual go to! Don't forget to wash it down with a half & half (sweet tea and lemonade)

It's nice and has great options, and the biscuits are great. I got myself the sausage egg and cheese biscuit and it was very delicious.
