As someone who grew up around Philly, I'm constantly on the lookout for a great Philly cheesesteak in NC. I'm very happy to say that Reno's Cheesesteaks are just as good, actually better really, than many cheesesteaks up in PA. Definitely the best in NC! And I don't endorse cheesesteaks lightly. =)
We both had OG Cheesesteaks and they are definitely very large (full size) and overflowing with steak and toppings. The break is also great... and they offer Whiz! My son also really liked his Oreo Milkshake.
We'll definitely be back many more times to try more of their other sandwiches and, of course, their cheesesteaks!

Wow. This cheesesteak was excellent. I have been looking for a good cheesesteak for a few years now and all the places I end up trying usually fall short. This cheesesteak was everything I was expecting. The bread was soft, the steak was seasoned and the toppings were fresh. The portion size was well worth the money spent and I liked that I was able to customize everything beforehand to my liking. I'm not close to Durham but I'll definitely be back. Thanks again!!

This place is very, very good. The cheesesteak was outstanding and worth every penny. The fries are close to perfect, then add the cajun seasoning, which takes them to the next level. The food was well made, and the service was quick. The staff was phenomenal and went out of their way to provide exceptional service. Definitely would recommend trying this place.

During my visit to Reno's Cheesesteak, I ordered the North Star and the garlic fires. Amazing! The service was great. The owner was helpful and kind. Clean restaurant and a good amount of seating. The sandwich was large and filled with meat and toppings. Delicious sandwich and fries! Oh, and the strawberry lemonade was tasty! I could only eat half of my food. The sandwich was very filling. I will be back.

Naww this place is top tier. The guys made my cheese steak just the way I wanted it! The garlic parm fries are elite. I'm from up north and this is the closest to home I will get in this area. Definitely my go to place for cheese steaks from now on!!! Thanks

I’m biased.
I give five stars to joints I want to eat at again. I double it when I want to bring friends and family.
This place makes me look forward to going to the gym. It’ll be worth it. The builds on the sammie’s were meticulous.

No nonsense cheesesteak shop here. They don’t have a sign up yet, but this is definitely a must go to spot. This place is absolutely delicious. The sandwiches are huge and they taste amazing. We had the lemon pepper fries and they were the best lemon pepper spiced food I’ve ever had. The cheesesteaks are really really good. I got the cheddar whiz and a friend tried the classic whiz (beer cheese whiz) and both are what you’d expect out of Philly. I’ll definitely be back soon.

This is a new spot that deserves a mention. It’s next to Chubby’s. We went on Saturday for lunch but noticed they were closed till 4p, so check the hours before you visit. The inside is neat and modern. You order from a kiosk however there was a guy helping with suggestions. We got a whole OG cheesesteak with house made cheezwiz and fries. It’s definitely enough for 2 people and I’m a big eater. The sandwich was the bomb, gives Philly a run for their money. Plenty of hot well seasoned fries too. I hope this place survives as the food was really good and portions big for the price, good value. We spent $25 for the combo but again definitely enough for 2 hungry people. Check them out.

We got the OG cheesesteak and the Club Reno (pulled grilled turkey, pulled pork, bacon). Both were out of this world. Bread, meat, and home made cheese whiz were excellent. Tastes like we made a trip to Philly. Seasoned fried were plentiful and tasty. Lemonade hit the spot. Decor is fun. Very clean. Highly recommend. We will be back.

The best cheesesteak I have had in the Triangle. The OG was loaded up with meat and cheese and every bite was perfect. The garlic parm fries were a huge hit in the household as well. The best way I can describe it is “no-gimmicks yet elevated” and I am excited to go back to try what else they’ve got.

Very good cheesesteak. I am a traditionalist and don’t need all the choices for toppings and what not, but some will love that and I do love that they have cherry peppers. My biggest issue with most cheesesteaks outside Philly region is the roll, but their roll works. Fries are great too. Super friendly service. Small space but very clean and nicely done.

We tried 2 sandwiches, the garlic parm fries and lemonade. Sandwiches hit the spot, the OG cheese steak was as advertised and authentic sandwich and the North Star which was absolutely delicious. I told him I'd be back if the food was good and he said he would see me next week. If the wife let's me it will be sooner than a week. Definitely 100% recommend trying this new establishment.
