Came for dine in.
Definitely understaffed
The person taking our order at first was doing well, then got confused by feedback from their coworker ,another time my friend had to repeat his order several times .
Order came out wrong،took some time to recover , the lady manning the cashier helped a lot but everything not the best today but good flavors
Sold out of the ice cream at the moment
Chocolate baklava was different -
I ordered shawarma, but it was chicken not shawerma at all! Kebabs were ok! Tiramisu was good. And the salad was perfect

This was our 1st visit to this Neomonde location on Durham and its did not disappoint!! We arrived around 2:30pm' well after lunch rush. All Staff were super nice!!.
Two different employees checked on us at the table to make sure all was great.....and it was really great! Enjoyed the mixed grilled platter and the grilled chicken platter. Tiramisu and baklava to finish it off!
Nicely decorated corner location downtown!
Be sure to check them out when youre in Durham, the bull city!!
Paid parking on the street and paid parking garage above. I didn't take time to search for any free parking.

A pita, platter, and 2 pieces of baklava for $35, a solid lunch. Loved the beet salad and the steak/lamb was great! Didn't love the dolmas, they were a little dry, and the ladyfinger baklava was not flavorful but overall a really great meal!

The food was horrible. I ordered the Steak Kabobs, Tabbouleh, and Grape Leaves.
First, the steak wasn't steak, it was the most flavorless pot roast cubes I've ever eaten. These were not seasoned in any way, but seemed to be topped with what tasted like boiled onion. I couldn't even eat 1 kabob.
The Tabbouleh was what you would expect to get from a grocery store counter. It was the best thing on the plate, but please don't assume that means it was good.
I didn't even know you could mess up grape leaves! They were dry, dense, and basically flavorless.
The fact that this restaurant shares its name with the Raleigh location is disgraceful, not to mention misleading. My wife and I ended up throwing the food away and going to a different restaurant that uses seasonings as well as gives you what you order. Really, in what world can you serve pot roast and call it steak?!
Please, please, do not eat here. Your wallet and taste buds will thank you.
