This Golden Belt taproom has 8,844 square feet of interior space, as well as a 1,678 square-foot outdoor covered patio and beer garden. Hi-Wire is big on games and activities, with full-sized shuffleboard courts, soccer pool tables, ping pong and more, and the bar’s 24 taps feature year-round, seasonal, specialty, sour, and one-offs, as well as wine, local cider and guest taps from neighboring breweries.
Had a great night here with a free concert from Covered in Jam! The layout is awesome. Hi wire is great but the ambiance of the entire area is wonderful. Grassy area for kids to play, big for out, very family friendly! And the pizza place and ice cream shop in the area make this a great place to stop in for a wonderful evening!

Amazing place to come for hang outs, meet ups, and just having fun! It in this little nook of places with a great pizza place and a Two roosters, so while the adults get beer, ranging from all different brands, the kids can play in the turf area and eat Ice cream, amazing spot for family's to have a blast! Highly recommend 5 STARS!

This brewery is very spacious with a cool large pool table game that I’ve never seen in any bar or brewery. There is plenty of outdoor and inside seating. I had the hi pitch ipa and it was an excellent American ipa. The bartender was nice and knowledgeable of the area due to the fact he grew up in Durham.

Fun little brewery with a good food selection. Love's the bourbon wings. Family friendly and had some nice couches for us to sit in while the kids played. Only recommendation is the have an NA beer option

We hosted the after party for our wedding at Hi Wire and had an awesome time. It was easy to reserve tables and they had plenty of space for us to bring a large crowd after our wedding. It was nice to have so many drink options. We love their beers but loved that guests could get other drinks too. Highly recommend!

We met friends here while driving through Durham and this was such a good find. The area was huge, clean, and parking was ample. Tons of seating options and the best location next to pizza and ice cream shops all surrounding a great outdoor area. Would definitely come back again! Very family friendly as well.

I love this place! Plenty of drink options. This time, I had the Sunday mimosa special and it was great. For food, you can make an order at the Italian restaurant nearby, and they will deliver it inside the brewery. The best thing about this place for me are definitely the games, especially the ping-pong tables. It’s always a fun time playing with friends. Very spacious brewery and plenty of parking around as well.

Came here to celebrate a birthday & found a huge selection of beers on tap. Had a tasting and ordered a pint before we took a to go selection & headed to watch the Carolina Hurricanes game.
Great server - very knowledgeable about their beers. And pizza & ice cream place adjacent to the brewery - we have pizza too!
Lots of parking, seating inside & outside & ADA compliant bathrooms.
