East of Texas

This place just opened and their food and service is outstanding. The flavors, textures, and presentation scream Texas. Love this place

Family friendly and dog friendly. Lots of seating inside and outside. Full bar inside. We ordered take-out, but will definitely go back soon and eat in. The food was great, we ordered the texas twinkle and the lil' sanpler tray to go. Got our food in about 10 mins (lunch time on a Saturday) even though it was busy. Definitely taste the smoke flavor in the food and the Tomatillo salsa was excellent! We made tacos with the sampler (it comes with flour tortillas, guac, sour cream, cilantro slaw, and lettuce) and they were great! The BBQ sauce is good, don't expect a NC style sauce, but still good. Didn't have one, but the margaritas look really good. We'll be back!

Delicious food and great service! Pork and brisket were very tender and the corn ribs were so creative. The indoor and outdoor seating options were convenient.

Great place to stop and grab a bbq lunch! The tobacco campus needs more restaurants like this where you can get your food and sit outside, the atmosphere is great. The staff definitely need some training, they very much did not know the menu or that there were different sized drinks, but thats on management for not providing adequate training. Hopefully they can fix that and make the experience great!

Being from Texas, we have longed for a Texas Barbeque place in Durham. Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding!
