They only sell 16-ich pies. I ordered the Napoletana. I really like the texture of the crusts. The toppings were definitely made of fresh ingredients and were not overtly salted like any other pizza place. But I wasn’t blown away by it. Maybe I’ll order a different flavor next time.

Make your own authentic, Neapolitan-style pizza in Durham! 🍕Cugino Forno, founded by 3 cousins who are actually from Turkey, offers pizza-making classes that are super fun and informative!
Almost all ingredients are imported from Italy. 🇮🇹 Only the fresh basil, mushrooms, and onions are local. The pizza ovens are also from Italy and contain stone from Mt. Vesuvius! 🌋
👩🏻🍳 Pizza-making classes are available for private groups only. There is no age limit, so it’s also great for families and kids!
If you’re not the DIY type, simply order from their menu and dine-in or pick up one of their frozen pizzas to take home! They also offer salads and decadent desserts. 😘

Ordered out through service. Pie was ready before eta by 5 minutes so it was not as hot so that needs to be considered but that pizza was fantastic it has spicy Italian salami and hot peppers about equal to a hotter jalapeno giving an amazing flavor. Appears to be 18" too for twenty dollars.

In a town full of good food, Cugino Forno’s pizza tradizionale di Napoli stands out! Delicious, high quality ingredients, affordable price. Well worth it. Go with the Calabrese :)

Among the best pizza I have eaten. This wood-fired pizza place uses very simple ingredients, but just does it all right. The quality of the ingredients are top notch and so is their technique. My favorite is the Margherita pie with spicy Calabrian peppers. I really can't get enough of it. I usually ask for mine well done because I like a little more than the "light char" that they usually cook it to.

Yummy recommendation on our visit to the area. Our large group between ages 81 - 7 all were happy with pizzas and drinks. A highlight was most of the staff grabbing a table together and eating some really delicious looking food. It made me want to be a part of their team. I like the long tables and paper towel dispensers for napkins. I have not seen paper towels like that since elementary school. I’d definitely go back to try more varieties of pizzas. I also wished I had room in my belly to try the many desserts.

Best pizza in Durham hands down. Probably the best pizza I have ever had. This is the americano pizza and Verona salad. You will not be disappointed

Fantastic! Truly the best pizza I've had in a long time. I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised - this place is legit. My wife and I shared a Bianca and it was quite possibly life changing. Also, the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend.
