New furniture often has little to no personality, which is why we prefer buying from consignment shops. We were disappointed today to learn that our favorite furniture consignment shop in Durham had closed, but as we were shopping around Durham, we passed Always Home and decided on a whim to stop, and we’re glad we did. We are pleased to have found our new favorite furniture consignment store in Durham. Ross helped us discover great pieces and then assisted in loading the two unique chairs we decided to buy on impulse. We will be back..:frequently.

In addition to the outstanding and varied furniture pieces and attractive rugs for our home that we bought recently from the business, I am also exceedingly pleased and happy with the outstanding furniture delivery service offered by Always Home Furniture Consignment. Gorgeous big store with nice furniture, rugs and original art pieces, lovely hand glazed garden pots Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I bought a gorgeous oil painting and the owner helped me out with the price so I could ship it out of state. This place is a treasure hunting find!

Absolutely fantastic gem of a store in Durham! The selection and prices are fantastic but what really sets them apart from the competition is their customer service. Jay and Ross always go out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. Their delivery fees are very reasonable too. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for quality finds at excellent prices!

What an amazing crew! My friend from NC highly recommended Always Home for some furniture needs I had. They did not disappoint! Very professional and sincere through the whole process, from the initial phone call to the final delivery. Jabrel and Shea made the long haul to deliver all my furniture to me and they were wonderful! Two very kind, hard working young men. They unloaded the furniture for me and helped me get it inside, all without breaking a sweat! I really hope to see them again soon and will highly recommend this business to everyone!

Always Home is my go-to place to find treasures!! They always have new pieces coming in and the most wonderful selection- I come almost weekly and am never disappointed by what I find. I’ve found gifts for family, friends, and pieces for myself (including my favorite green bowl). Plus- the staff is wonderful- friendly + knowledgeable! Definitely would recommend.

I was a seller with Always Home and I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The movers that picked up my furniture were very nice and noticeably skilled at what they were moving. I had very heavy furniture sitting in a third floor apartment and no elevator. They broke everything down very carefully and carried it down the stairs without complaint. Every time I went to the store, I managed to run into the owner who was friendly and knowledgeable. When my mail service in Ithaca, NY wasn’t on top of their game, the lady at the front desk took the time to resend my check. I needed to make a cross country move and I will be forever grateful that I found Always Home. My husband and I are expecting and knowing that my furniture sales were being taken care of in another state was such a relief. Thank you, Always Home!

I purchased a beautiful leather sofa and it may as well have been brand new. I absolutely love it. Delivery people were extra careful when moving it in and even removed my old sofa to my front porch to be picked up by the city the next week. I could not be happier with the whole experience.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing several pieces from Always Home, and I must say that the service was excellent. Jay Cannon, went above and beyond to ensure that I understood the quality of the furniture and made the entire process extremely easy for me, from helping me pick out what I needed to arrange the delivery service.
Speaking of the delivery service, it exceeded expectations. Shae and Jabrell, the delivery team, seamlessly moved several large pieces with utmost care and professionalism. They were efficient and courteous and made sure everything was set up perfectly.
