Interdependence Day

Interdependence Day is a space to channel what you’re feeling. A people-powered evening of art, action, and community. Do something. Make something. Meet your people.

Local organizations will offer meaningful ways to take action, alongside hands-on art, opportunities to connect, and space to just be together.

At the picnic, you can expect:

The event is in the Bullpen, so feel free to bring your own picnic (and a drink!) from a local spot. The Durham Food Hall is just across the street.

Meet some of ACLU's partner organizations. Learn what they’re working on and find easy ways to plug into civil liberties efforts across the state.

Help build a communal quilt and tap into your creative side at the zine-making station.

Bring your instruments to a front porch bluegrass jam from 6:30-7:30 - all abilities welcome.

They’ll also have a community resource table, so feel free to bring clothing, books, or non-perishable food to share.

BYO blanket or chair, friend, and energy. Leave with something that matters.
