Comedy’s Best Kept Secret brings nationally touring stand-up comedy to Weldon Mills Distillery Durham, 2026, featuring headliner Matt Richards with special guest Dan Frigolette.

Matt Richards is a New York-based actor, host, comedian, and writer known for his work in film, television, and live comedy. He can be seen in the feature film Is This Thing On? with Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett, the Comedy Central Studios feature film Run For The Money opposite Beck Bennett and Joel McHale on Paramount+, and as the host of A&E’s popular food travel series Best in Chow.

His television credits include Flatbush Misdemeanors, That Damn Michael Che, Run The World, 2 Broke Girls, School of Rock, and Bizaardvark. He has also appeared on The Funny Dance Show, World Star TV, and The Steve Harvey Show. Richards was selected as a New Face Character at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and was a standout in the CBS Diversity Showcase.

The show also features Dan Frigolette, a nationally touring comedian, actor, and producer whose credits include HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, Game Theory with Bomani Jones, and The Wendy Williams Show. Frigolette can currently be seen on Peacock’s RJ Decker, M.I.A. and Netflix’s Outer Banks. As the founder of Comedy’s Best Kept Secret, he has spent more than a decade bringing top-tier stand-up comedy to audiences across the United States.
