We visited Unscripted for the igloo dinner experience on this season’s opening weekend. We did not stay in the hotel as we are local. We selected an early evening time to enjoy the view in the day to night transition. The food, beverages, and service were great. However, I didn’t like the seating which was sofas around a coffee table, awkward and uncomfortable for a multi course meal. Some other igloos had this arrangement while others had a standard height table and chairs. Seating preference wasn’t offered. I think the novelty of the experience is the selling point and I don’t regret going but it’s marketed to be more polished than it is. Also, visibility of signage to access the space could be improved.

We booked rooms at Unscripted for our wedding. The staff and service were great. They were helpful in handing out gift bags to our guests as they arrived. All our guests loved their rooms. We highly recommend booking with Unscripted if you're having a wedding or large event in Durham.

We got an interior room that didn't have windows, but did have everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there was a table. Extremely clean and in a perfect location for DPAC.

Nice stay! 👍 The night was comfortable, clean place, and great location.
We came here to stay the night of our wedding, and they really went all out to treat us like VIP guests.

We love staying here when in town. The rooms are super clean and updated, the beds are very comfortable and our room had great views! The location is amazing for whatever you want to do: see a show, get some good food, watch the Durham Bulls, etc. There is lots of parking around and easy access to the electric scooters. They have a parking garage if you choose covered parking, a bar that turns into a night club on weekends on the first floor of the hotel and a pool deck on the 3rd floor. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We totally recommend staying here!

This is a totally fine hotel! The location is right in the middle of the action with lots of great food and restaurants nearby. The bed was fine. The service was wonderful with such a kind gentleman checking us in and giving us a list of good nearby restaurants. It was a little loud at night, and quite a bit of light shined into our room from the pool.

The receptionist was very helpful. The included breakfast was pretty meager but the host was delightful and coffee plentiful. Perfect location to walk around town, sweet restaurants ( the Lenny) bars and hanging in the lobby of The Durham was very nice.

Good location, however I would not recommend staying here. The check in process was terrible. I tried checking in early around 1 and was told to come back at 3pm. Came back at 3pm and the room was still not ready. Huge line of people with the same issue. Had to get ready in the hotel lobby bathroom because the room was still not ready by 4pm…. Then when I returned, the lobby had turned into a club? Blasting DJ music, to the point where a bouncer tried to card us as we walked in the hotel. The hallways were very loud with doors slamming all night and on top of it there was a man sleeping on a bench in the hallway. No thanks.

Nice rooms and ambience. Perfect location. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was missing shampoo and hand/body soap though. Also was unfortunate that Prime Video wasn't an option on the smart TV. Price was ok but not amazing for the area.

We very much enjoyed our visit. The beds are very comfortable! The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The location is great and there are wonderful restaurants within walking distance, as well as walking access to DPAC. Thank you to the staff for their top notch service! Definitely a step above the rest!

We came here to have dinner on the rooftop inside of the igloos. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The igloo was spacious and warm, service was quick and the food was the star of the show! Everything we ordered was delicious! Everything was flavorful, hot, and cooked perfectly! I’ll definitely come back again.
