Parlour, The
Phone: (919) 564-7999
Overview
Fans of The Parlour know their staples (cookies n’ cream, salted caramel, Vietnamese coffee, etc.) very well, but their limited and seasonal flavors are always unique and delicious. It's strawberry season in the spring, blueberry lemon season in the summer and pumpkin in the fall. Trust us, when you see it, nab a creamy peach and mascarpone scoop before it’s going ... going ... gone. Vegans rejoice, there are typically at least two to three flavors that are dairy-free and still remarkably delicious.

This is a fine ice cream establishment. They had plenty of good options for ice cream, shakes, and floats. There was plenty of seat space and functional bathrooms(ask for a key). The facility could use some aesthetic buffing but a great stop still. There is also a city square across the street that has additional walking/sitting space. -
The ice cream was so good and the portions were great! My husband got an ice cream sandwich and I got a scoop of cookie dough. We loved them! -
THE best ice cream in Durham and the vegan blueberry lemon is the best flavor I've ever had!! They put effort into their vegan flavors too and it shows.
We come here at least once a month for the new flavors and much more often when the vegan blueberry lemon is featured. The employees are always kind and seem happy to be there and it's always clean.
I'd give The Parlour ten stars if I could. IT'S SO GOOD! -
The ice cream is not anything extraordinary. I’ve had better from bryers ice cream at the grocery store. I got a sundae. I was shocked it came in a styrofoam bowl like a kids birthday party. No label or company advertising on it. Just a plain bowl. They do not use gloves when scooping ice cream. The issue is that when they scooped the ice cream their knuckles are covered in ice cream so there is hand and food contact. It’s regular ice cream with regular toppings in a plain styrofoam bowl… -
At the Parlour today while on my latest trip to Raleigh
Salted Butter Caramel and Banoffe ice cream(which btw is incredible)
Make this a must stop place to visit when near. You will not be disappointed.
