SpringHill Suites by Marriott Durham checks all the boxes! The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The blackout curtains helped us get the best nights sleep we have had in a long time. Alonzo at the front desk was friendly, professional and very efficient. We arrived a little early and he was able to accommodate us.
The breakfast every morning was good and everything was replenished regularly. The location can't be beat! It is very close to restaurants and shops and within walking distance if you are so inclined. I would definitely stay here again when in the Durham area.

We were there in just a standard meeting room. But we passed the indoor pool, and it was full of families. The front desk staff was nice. It's in the congestion of a Route 40 exit. But if your destination is located near there, this is a nice place.

Hotel and staff were great! We enjoyed our stay only down side was there was not a drop of shampoo or conditioner in our room so that was disappointing when showering.

This hotel has amazing rooms. Ours had 2 beds and a couch, which was so comfortable. I travel with my 2 adult sons and having the couch was a real plus. We usually travel with an extra blow up mattress which is hard to do when flying. I was rally pleased wit hour room, breakfast and front desk staff.

Convenient location walking distance from suburban amenities. Coffee was unusually good for a SpringHill. Rooms were definitely broken down. The shower had water pressure issues and made a horrific sound. The phone in my room was broken. The lock on the room I was originally assigned was also broken (but the staff quickly assigned me to another room).

What an incredible night staff! The young lady that checked us in was an absolute sweet heart and Renay was an incredible bar tender! We can not recommend this Hotel enough! Great service and better vibes!

I stayed in the hotel last week and lost my cellphone in the room. I was so upset and never thought i can get my cellphone back. I called the hotel, The hotel staff helped me to find my cell phone and shipped back to me. They are so patient and nice to help me. I really appreciate that.

Very clean and easy check in/out. Breakfast not as plentiful as in other Marriott properties. We did not love the compartment bathroom with translucent sliding doors. But it was overall very good and located in a very nice plaza with many options for dining.

Room was definitely a bit tired. Wallpaper peeling off the walls and spots, old sheets with hair on it, shower had a mildew smell to it.
I'm sure this hotel was spectacular 10 years ago, but it's in need of improvement.

We've been here a few times and it's our go-to place to stay. It's a short drive to UNC for a fraction of the price. The lobby is very clean and the workers are very friendly. Some rooms could use a little pick-me-up, but nothing crazy. My only gripe (and I'm being picky) is the sliding doors for the bathroom and showers and super heavy, no need for that. They slam into the frame with the slightest pull. We will definitely be staying here in the future.
