Pour your own beer spot located under the Unscripted in downtown Durham. Patrons receive a bracelet they scan at taps and the cab choose beer of choice and pour as much as they want. They have a large selection and a smaller selection for wines. Great for someone who wants to sample different types. Can get very crowded. Has decent amount of seating. You have to check in at counter to get bracelet and then out there to return bracelet and pay. This can be a slow process when crowded. They also have food offerings to snack on while there.

A fun atmosphere with a great selection of beer, and a serve yourself set up. Patrons put a card on file then they can taste as much or as little as they would like. The outdoor area is a great spot for enjoying the weather while taking in some scenery from a revamped Durham. A short walk from the Parlor if you'd enjoy a sweet treat after your beverage!

We really enjoyed visiting here on our visit around Durham. The only 2 suggestion we would make, is to have someone near the beer explaining to us newbies how it works. And let us know if foam comes out, end of the barrel, you throw it out, you get charged. We both drank about same amount, but my husband's wrist band rang up like $4 more. He had a few glasses of foam. A customer standing their told us we'd be charged. I guess you have to tell someone the Barrel is empty. But we'll be back and try again. Skip the foam👍

My Oh My, am I in heaven? I absolutely loved this place, it is a must for beer lovers. Pour Taproom has done it right. From the cleanliness to the outdoor area, so many beers so little time. You self pour with a chipped wristband. Only thing I didn't care for was having to reset the wristband after 32 ounces. Every single person here was so friendly even the musician playing outside.

New idea and definitely the selection of beers are good. They have at least 5-7 beers in each category. I like the way you pay for every oz you drink. In that way, no one waste their beers ! It also paves a way for someone who wants to just walk in and taste some beers(like I did - I did 4 beers in the Ale section). They have good number of board games and a couple of screens that play ESPN/(others). I haven't tried their food.

Durham's Pour Taproom is such a gem I wish I had known about sooner. They operate on a wristband system, which allows you to pour your own beers. This allowed me to try several different beers in whatever quantity you would like. They also have a table full of board games, cards, and coloring books.

This is one of the best tasting bars in Durham. If we want to expand your beer pallet, check it out. You pay by the volume. Buyers beware though, they do have limit on how much you can drink.

Best experience in Durham. The staff is polite and friendly. Good collection of various local beers. A nice different experience. We can get minimum of 1 oz and maximum of how much ever we want to have that particular beer/wine!

Really cool atmosphere. They have board games you can play at your table and a wall of taps that you can pour your own glass. You get a wrist band to scan at each tap and the wrist band is linked to your debit card. I thought I was going to have a really high tab because you pay by the ounce but it only came up to 12 dollars. Two thumbs up

This was my first visit here. I went at about 3pm on a Thursday afternoon, and it was quiet and calm. It got busier by 6pm but not outrageously so. Awesome selection of drinks on tap, super easy to use and understand. This was such a fun experience and definitely a place to return to.

Fantastic selection, great customer service, and love the board games nook. The variety of glassware is a cute touch too! I've already taken a few friends visiting the area here and they love it.

Pour is such a cool experience if you haven't been before. I like going to the beer gardens in the city, but this one is by far my favorite. you get these wristbands that allow you to pour every beer on tap, and you can pour as much or as little as you like. I especially like tasting a bunch of beers to get the full sense of what they have, and then pouring a glass or 2 of my favorites! It's definitely a cool experience and you should check it out if you haven't already!

We bring our children here for the Sunday Family Fun days! Pour is wonderfully accommodating and provide games and music for children while parents can taste test their favorite beverages. The patio is nicely situated in the Durham city center which is typically a bevy of activity. Also, its just up the road from Central Park and makes for a great afternoon in the city with the kiddos!

From out of town so I was not familiar with this concept, although I'm told it's popular in the region. Loved the ability to try tons of different beers without committing to a full pint of anything or hassling the bartender for 50 different samples. Huge variety on tap so the whole group can find something they are happy with

What a fun idea and a great way to try lots of different beers or wine! Great selection. Beers vary price per ounce but average 47 cents (even for an amazing 12%IPA). We also tried some snacks and we were not disappointed! Can't wait to return:]

Really like this place, They set up is so unique. It's a simple place to have a drink with friends. Outdoor seating was still cozy. Definitely going back when in the area.

This place is great for sampling new beers. You pay by the ounce and they have a good selection of different styles of beer to choose from. Many local NC craft selections and a few carefully selected from around the country. No food but I'm pretty sure you can bring it in with you. They have TVs if you are looking to catch a game.

Excellent little place if you want to try different types of local beer, cider and wine. Pay by the ounce so if you get a kind you don't like you only pay for a little bit. Very fun place and the patio is a really cool place to just hang out.

Pour Taproom serves up an incredible selection of delicious beers. You're sure to find something to suit even the most discriminating beer connoisseur. We love featuring beer tastings from Pour as part of our Durham Walking Food Tour.

This place is great if you don't know what kind of beer you like. I took two friends who don't really love beer and they both found something they could thoroughly enjoy.

Cool place and such an awesome concept. Love being able to try so many different kinds of beers without having to commit to a huge amount. Love how accommodating they are towards bringing your dog on the patio.

Awesome place to try a bunch of different craft beers, all on a self serve draft beer wall of 50+ taps! Also has 8 wines on tap for those that prefer wine (4 whites, 4 reds). Perfect place to take ppl new to craft beers as they can get small samples until they find one they like. Tasty small plates to snack on in case you get hungry as well

You know, I've been to Pour many, many times over the last few years, and I generally enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere, good selection of beers, good (but maybe pricey) snacks, good location. But I never liked beers that I had drank previously nearly as well at Pour as out of a can or from any other place. Then I went this weekend, and my wife and I realized what felt wrong: all of our beers felt watered down. Beers that have big bodies and full mouthfeels (imperial stouts, tripels, etc.) tasted like a thinner beer. Once that dawned on us, we couldn't help but notice it in every beer/cider we had. Still can't figure out why. Edit: I appreciate Pour's response! I want to continue to support our local beer purveyors, and I appreciate the openness!
