A great selection of used furniture, appliances, building materials. A wonderful non-profit supporting habitat for humanity. The volunteer staff are extremely helpful. Easy loading dock for large items. They will also pick up some donations. Highly recommend! We've shopped for both personal items and a great place to find school play set and prop items!

The staff their I’m pretty sure are volunteers (their vests say so) and their profits from this ReStore serve Durham and Orange County Habitat for Humanity affiliates. I’m pretty sure I saw a sign that stated that their profits go to building new houses for the poor. Very nice thrift store. Things are not going to be perfect, because you are not paying top dollar. You can find some good prices, if you don’t mind buying used. We (my wife and I) bought 2 books. One soft covered book 50 cents and one hard covered $1.00. I saw a Baldwin piano for $100!

Very impressive! The store was so clean and so well organized. Such a variety of items for the house from flooring to fridges to couches! A great store to go to for the struggling homeowner that cant afford top retail prices!

Great place! I travel to RDU often and each time I buy wayyy too much stuff to fit in my suit cases that I came with. So again on this trip, I was panicking on how to fit all my stuff in my suitcase. I passed this store, turned in and went inside. Many choices available and the suitcase I picked was a 25% mark down. Excellent location and being able to buy a used, good hard suitcase for $9 was awesome! Thankful for thrift stores!!!

They have a huge selection of paintings, electronics, and hardware, but not much in the way of clothing. The staff was super nice and there is plenty of parking around back.

Best place to donate things, you basically get a blank slip to write whatever value you want for what you donated, no questions ask. Be honest!

If they had better signage in the donation area, their volunteers wouldn’t have to be so nasty.

Massive store. Half a million dollars worth of stuff. There are no bags for your merchandise after paying. I think you have to bring your own bag. The pricing on items is strange. They have disney vhs behind the glass with a $10 price tag. While out in the store they have $75.00 items priced at $5.00. Loved this store.

I call this the Habitat Super-restore. Lots of stuff with new stuff regularly arriving. Not to mention free books available at the front door 24/7.

They're really working to prevent the spread of COVID in the store. Social distancing, volunteers actually wearing their masks, hand sanitizer at the door, plexiglass screens at register, etc.

This is by no means a negative review for the store and it’s volunteers. It’s a great place and I thank them for their effort, hence the 5 stars. What gave me a 1-star experience is some customers that just takes from other peoples cart. The first encounter occurred when we left our cart on a corner just to walk down a narrow aisle to look at furniture. Upon our return, an item was removed from our cart. To clarify, I’ve seen the volunteers haul stuff from the warehouse to the floor and they’re on flat metal trucks, not the carts customers use. I brushed it off as my fault because I was not supervising my cart, but still. The second encounter happened AFTER we made our purchase. We pushed our cart near the entrance, FAR away from the floor items. Some items in the cart prevented us from just straight moving the cart past the doors. So for the first bit, we had to haul some items from the cart, past the entrance, to the car. It’s during that moment that someone took not one, but TWO items from the cart. Due to the amount of items we purchased, we were not aware of this until we unloaded and surveyed the haul at home. These “swiped” items were what I would consider a “rare” find; great deals that got looked over as they were hidden or placed in oblivious places. I’m a person that loves a great deal, and when someone just takes it from you after you’ve bought it, I feel a certain amount of wrath and disappointment towards humanity. Word of advice when you’re here: find great deals, contribute when you can, but most important of all; GUARD YOUR CART AT ALL COST. As Max Black from 2 Broke Girls said: “You know the rule; turn you back on the rack, you’re under attack! - that’s the law of the Will (Goodwill)”

Always a wide selection of items that are very reasonably priced. Hold items for a few days if you need to arrange transportation. Staff is always friendly.
