Fun variety of beer. Sleek but slightly soulless space. I've never had a milk draft before, so it was fun to try it (and get it explained to me) here - that's what gets this place to a 5 in my book.

Nice space. Solid tap list and all the beers I got were quality and the prices were good. Staff were a little pretentious about beer but were helpful

This is a great place to grab a beer! Friendly staff, locally owned and locally brewed. If you're hungry, pick up food across the street from Durham Food Hall or one of the many restaurants nearby and enjoy it with a beer at the Glass Jug.

Friendly staff, following CDC guidelines re COVID-19. First time at the new location which is far closer to my house than the RTP locale. This location does not as yet have a bottle shop, but no need. The taps are fantastic and their purchase-ready fridge is all you need!

This is the place to be downtown Durham! It's a beautiful location overlooking the farmers market and Durham Food Hall. Chris and staff are friendly and the draft selection is always great. The Glass Jug Beer Lab has brewed some of the best beer in Triangle—stop in to try it, you won't be disappointed.

There’s a lot of great places to drink good beer in Durham and this place is no exception. Bringing in food is allowed (even encouraged) so it’s a perfect place to sit and drink with takeout from the Durham Food Hall across the street. The covered deck overlooking Central Park is a huge perk and pet friendly, although there are limited seats and they can fill up fast if there is nice weather or live music nearby on the lawn. Beer is really good, I enjoy the Opacity hazy IPA that is one of their standards - plus they have seasonal rotations and a few alternatives for non beer-drinkers. Staff have been welcoming and kind every time we’ve been in.

We have loved this place since the first day we stepped foot there. All of their beers are clean and tasty. This is the only brewery I’ve found where every single beer they make is good. Definitely would recommend!

I’ve been to the Glass Jug multiple times, and have always had a great time! It’s in a great location downtown right across from the Durham food hall. The staff has always been super nice, and plenty of great beer choices. You should definitely check it out!

Great beer in a great setting. Always clean, great atmosphere, and the staff are always genuinely glad to help out with a smile and pleasant conversation. Add to this that the food hall is directly across the street, and one can enjoy a fantastic meal with fantastic beer. Whenever in downtown Durham I make sure to stop in and have a pint (or three)!

The Glass Jug has quickly become my go-to spot in Downtown Durham. The staff is fantastic, music is always killer and there is always something new and exciting on tap. An awesome spot to start, finish or spend your entire night. To top it all off, they're dog friendly and are close to many exceptional food options (Ex-Voto has my heart).
