Love the vibe- comfortable and romantic. The tap list is great! Lots of beers I had never tried. Owners were present and friendly. Everyone was so conscientious of safety- the beer tenders would jump up and sanitize a table the second a party left. Very safe feeling.

Amazing selection of beers, We loved the ambience, the employees and owner are super friendly. The owner is so obviously passionate about his beer. He came out several times to show us what was brewing and some of the processes. We felt safe during our time there as well as they keep it super clean and keep customers spread out. Great place! Highly recommend!

We were at Flying Bull on opening night and had a fantastic experience. The beer selection is awesome! Great decor too. We felt totally comfortable even with being indoors. The environment was clean, tables were spread out and workers were wearing masks. I've recommended this new establishment to many friends and cannot wait to go back especially when the outdoor area in the back is opened.

Friendly and attentive service! A relaxing atmosphere with beautiful wood-metal decor. The owner, Joel, brought his dreams to life and Wow did he do a wonderful job. It is the perfect place to enjoy a craft beer and order in food from anywhere on the strip. Dog friendly too!

Would be a 5 if not for the lack of beer...specifically, their beer. They did have a decent selection of craft but was hoping to try their IPA so many people raved about...all gone and so was all other Bull brewed beer. Will def come back when new brews are released! Good luck to you guys!

This place is a great new brewery in a prime location! They serve great North Carolina beer plus their own brews! The place has such a great vibe! I love the beer garden...and I am so happy they have provided outdoor heaters for the colder months! Highly recommend giving this place a try! The owners are awesome!

We happened upon this new place while walking up 9th street. Had a couple of beers, sitting outside listening to music. The owner is delightful and helpful in explaining the beer selection. Great new addition to the neighborhood.

Stopped by the Flying Bull brewery today and were thrilled with our experience!! Just released their new “Bullvarian Decree” IPA and it was fantastic. Can’t wait to get back on a better weather day to enjoy the new beer garden with our pup. A must do while in Durham!

Solid selection of local North Carolina brews, including their own (of theirs, I recommend the IPA). The outback beer garden is very cute with Edison bulb lights, gas heaters and now gazebos at some tables.

The best small brewery I've been to in ages. A nice, balanced beer selection, friendly staff, and great comfortable settings both inside and out. The best part is definitely the location - for folks on this side of Durham it's a great place to walk to on weekends to enjoy the afternoon, especially considering the fact that you can bring in food from any of the surrounding restaurants to enjoy with your beers.

Descent beer, mostly mother breweries.... Tobacco Wood seems to be a partner brewery. Bartender was nice. A lot of smokers in the back beer garden though. In some ways it reminded me of how much I miss Sams...

A relatively new addition to the 9th Street scene, The space is very inviting, although small. There is limited outdoor seating (in front and behind the building), which was full (COVID limitation), so we had a fun chatting with the bartender and his dog. There is a great beer selection, both their own brews and guest taps. We were drinking Four Saints from Asheboro (one of our favorite breweries). All the major styles were represented and many North Carolina breweries were available. They only serve snacks but we were told we could bring in food or have delivered. A great place. We'll be back!

Descent beer, mostly other breweries.... Tobacco Wood seems to be a partner brewery. Beertender was nice. A lot of smokers in the back beer garden though. In some ways it reminded me of how much I miss Sams... Based on breweries response changing my rating to five stars because there is no 4 and a half. Looking forward to more of your beers.

Stopped by after a day at the museum, kids in tow. Ordered Mexican food to-go from the place 2 doors down and ate it here. Beer was fantastic, staff (and customers) were super friendly and tolerant of our kids. Got some beers to-go to enjoy later. Definitely will come back again!
