What makes Durham beautiful to you? | Para ti, ¿qué es lo que hace a Durham hermoso?

"Durham has a very diverse community and they have welcomed us as a new group of immigrants. It has also become my home, so it has become beautiful in my own eyes through my experiences here. It has also afforded me many opportunities, like the chances to become the artist that I have always sought to be, the ability to share and express my thoughts through my artwork and to allow my artwork to become part of Durham through my mural work."

"The local Latino community doesn’t seem to have the same kind of help that many other people have from the national government during this pandemic. But many local Latino-focused, government-funded, organizations such as El Futuro, El Centro Hispano and Diamante Inc. as well as many, many more, have all provided many great resources for those in the Latino community who still need assistance."
