Truthsgiving

7 Directions of Service's 4th annual Truthsgiving features Indigenous-centered storytelling, panel discussions, short films, food and performances to uplift the untold historical truths of the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, and amplify Indigenous resistance and visions for the future.

Truthsgiving is a family-friendly event that uplifts the untold historical truths of the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, and amplifies Indigenous resistance and visions for the future.

Through puppetry and storytelling, panels, short films and Indigenous foods, Truthsgiving serves as a starting point toward solidarity and transformative action. This year’s themes include: Rematriation, Rights of Nature and Indigenous Solutions to the Climate Crisis.

Masks are encouraged. Kids are welcome, and families are encouraged to arrive for the start, in order to not miss the opening storytelling.
