Third Friday at the Durham Arts Council; opening of “A Powerful Story” by Eric McRay and Annual DPS Instructor Show
In the Durham Arts Council galleries, Eric McRay’s “A Powerful Story” will be on display in the Allenton gallery, featuring powerful and multi-layered collage paintings that reflect identity and shared history of African Americans in the Black Diaspora. In the Semans gallery, work from fifteen Durham Public School Instructors will be exhibited in the annual Durham Public School Instructor exhibit.
Participate in a craft; postcard to Mother Nature to let her know what you’re thankful for! You may take your creation home or leave it to be displayed at the DAC for Earth Day (Wednesday April 22nd.). This free activity is for both kids and adults – all supplies are provided.
This event is free and open to the public. Light fare and drinks will be provided.
