The Wizard of Ozzy Dance Party
It was on steamy late-August night in 1981 towards the end of the Blizzard of Oz tour that a concert goer reportedly made the first-ever connection that the magical land where Dorothy touched down in the movie is almost like Ozzy’s name: "Wait," they screeched, Oz!? OZZY!!". Since then, fans have cautiously wondered what if, instead of colorful Munchkinland and an overly bedazzled Glinda the Good, we were greeted by a headbanging mosh pit along the Yellow Brick Road fronted by the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne.
This Halloween THE WORLD WILL WONDER NO MORE.
From the DJ’s that brought you things you’ve definitely heard of like Shallow Cuts and Mall Goth comes a danceable night of yr POP favorites, classic DISCO numbers and a Mall Goth collection of the TOP 25 songs appearing on burnt CD’s between 1999 and 2003. Half dance party homage to the late great Ozzy and half excuse to coerce Bruce to create drink specials with names like “Flying Rye Again” and “Shot in the Dark” comes THE WIZARD OF OZZY. Straight out of hell and back again!
Expect a costume contest for best Ozzy lookalike and a highlights reel from The Osbournes.
Put on your Rubies slippers, hop on the crazy train, and party with Fifi Hi-Fi, Scary Dude, and Mike D in the land of OZzy
