The Journey of Land Relationship: Growing Your Bond
Forming a land-based relationship with place is an ongoing process, whether you live and garden on your own land, in an apartment or another setting. Together with Martin Jahn, horticulturist in the Culberson Asiatic Arboretum at Duke Gardens, you’ll explore what it means to arrive in an ecosystem, become a part of it and take responsibility for your shared future.
This workshop will look at your expectations for progress after several years of working with a piece of land. Through a variety of methods and activities, consider how you will measure success, adjust your expectations and adapt to challenges.
