About Bull City Woodshop
"Bull City Woodshop is Durham’s community workshop, where kids trade screens for saws, nails, and imagination. We give children the chance to build real projects in a safe, supportive environment guided by experienced mentors. Parents choose us because we combine structured learning, positive role models, and the confidence-building joy of making something tangible.
Our mission is simple: to teach practical skills while building confidence, focus, and creativity. Through woodworking projects, kids learn patience, problem-solving, and independence. Each project completed is more than just a birdhouse or stool — it’s proof that kids can bring ideas to life with their own hands."
