Thanksgiving Empty Streets Scooter Tour

Join Bike Durham and Spin Scooters for a hands-on Transit Travel Training Ride exploring Durham on scooters!

Meet at the Durham Farmers’ Market at 10 AM for a brief safety orientation before heading out for a guided group ride through downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.

During the session, participants will:

🛴 Learn how to unlock, ride, and park Spin scooters properly

🚦 Practice safe riding techniques and learn how to share the road confidently

🏙️ Explore bike and scooter-friendly routes around Durham

💳 Get information on fare passes, income-based discounts, and accessibility options

The group will return to the Farmers’ Market by Noon. Helmets are strongly recommended, and participants must be at least 18 years old to ride.
