Taste of Joy Holiday Dinner

Tulips in the Garden is a soft landing space for Black Queer Women, Femmes, and Gender Expansive millennials in Durham. They queer Sunday dinner, celebrate Black Queer joy, and engage in place-based solidarity.

Taste of Joy is here. Think festive Sunday dinner with chosen family, nourishing food, and great vibes. Dinner will be prepared by Chef Imani from the Amandla Collective. In addition to the delicious food, They will have games, and giveaway prizes from local businesses in Durham.

For this years’ Taste of Joy, they are partnering with Feed Durham as their place-based solidarity partner. Feed Durham is a mutual aid collective that came together due to mounting COVID-related hunger. Since 2020, they’ve fed 207,000 neighbors and they continue to serve our community members facing food insecurity. 30% of all ticket sales will be donated to Feed Durham.
