Taking Back Thursday: Tae Lewis
Country singer/songwriter Tae Lewis does not sell short when it comes to his creation of music. The North Carolina native started singing in the church but deep inside country music was his first love. With his father being a Pastor and his mother a teacher, he was captivated by country music through his neighborhood friends and family listening to groups such as Vince Gill, Hunter Hayes & Dixie Chicks. At the age of 16 he explained to his family he wanted pursue country music. Although they were not ok with the idea, he was persistent and put his roots down into the genre. Tae was named in Rissi Palmer’s Color Me Country Class of 2022. His hit song “Good Luvin” made a TV debut on the highly acclaimed television show “Shameless”.
Musical performances happen rain or shine under the covered Pavilion on the BeatBox stage. In the event of extreme weather, such as flooding, ice or lightning, performances will be canceled.
