Sweet Social: Auntie's African Ice Cream

For the third year running, The Durham Hotel is partnering with local bakers and makers to bring sweet treats to the Roof on select Wednesday evenings this spring and summer.

Join in to send off another great Sweet Social season with an encore of Auntie’s Ice Cream on Wednesday, September 11, 6:30-8:30pm. Auntie’s introduces African flavors through the familiarity of ice cream while highlighting the variety and nuance in each country’s food. It’s a love letter to African women and the ways in which they nurture and express their love through food.

Purchase ice cream and take it to-go, or grab a drink from the bar and enjoy it on the Roof with a side of downtown views. They’ll provide the spoons.
