S'more Stories: A Live Storytelling Event for Families

Head to West Point on the Eno for "S'more Stories: A Live Storytelling Event for Families" in celebration of Schoolhouse of Wonder's 30th anniversary!

All you need is a chair or blanket and a picnic supper. There will be a community potluck table set up for any dishes or treats you might want to share. After dinner, just relax and digest or try your hand at one of the classic Schoolhouse of Wonder camp activities, such as tomahawk-throwing, primitive fire-making, or whittling! No storytelling event would be complete without a bonfire, so they'll light one as our evening begins.

Mayor Steve Schewel will kick off the main event, which boasts a great line up of performers featuring award-winning, nationally renowned master storyteller Ray Christian and other local storytellers.

After all the tales are told, it'll be time to gather around the bonfire for a bedtime snack of a freshly toasted s'more.
