Scott Sawyer has 7 recordings as a leader including his 2020 release "Nigh Visions" which garnered critical acclaim. He teaches at the Durham Jazz Workshop and ECU and has performed and recorded with John Abercrombie, Charlie Byrd, David Murray, Oteil Burbridge, Nnenna Freelon, Kate McGarry to name a very few.
