Preservation Durham 2026 Home Tour Lecture and Annual Meeting

The annual meeting is a time to celebrate accomplishments from the past year, learn about what’s in store for this year, and nominate new board members, which Preservation Durham members are welcome to vote for, and give attendees the opportunity to become a Preservation Durham member.

Following the annual meeting, they’ll transition into the home tour lecture featuring a presentation from Lee Pace, author of the recent Hope Valley book, Hope Valley Country Club: The First One Hundred Years, 1926-2026, and Tad DeBerry, lifetime Hope Valley resident. This free event will contextualize the history of the Hope Valley Country Club and Golf Course, which shaped the Hope Valley neighborhood. It will also include information on the establishment of the Hope Valley neighborhood and some of the early homes. Learn more about the history of the golf course, then join us on May 16th-17th for our annual home tour: Hope Valley Centennial. Tickets for the Home Tour are available here.
